About TSRTC Cargo Tracking
The Roads and Transport Corporation in Telangana State were originally established in 1932 as NSR-RTD (Nizam State Road and Rail Transport Department), a division of the Nizam State Railways. The RTD began with only 27 buses but quickly grew to 166 buses with employees to match.
APSRTC was established on 11 January 1958 under the Road Transport Corporation Act 1950.
Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has the largest fleet of buses in the world, with over 22,628 buses. APSRTC has been a proud owner of the largest bus fleet in the world since 1999, as recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.
Following the bifurcation of the state of Andhra Pradesh, two separate administrative units of RTC became operational as of 06/03/2015 – one in Andhra Pradesh and the other in Telangana.
Subsequently, the Government of Telangana established the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) on April 27, 2016 under the Road Transport Corporation Act of 1950. After the fork, TSRTC began operating buses from 98 depots to various locations in Telangana and neighboring states. TSRTC buses carry around 9 million passengers daily. 68% of buses provide rural transportation and 32% of buses provide urban transportation. Now, the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation has 9,384 buses and 46,746 employees from 98 depots in 11 regions as of April 2022. The state has a total of 364 bus stations.
